The first exhibition at the Raleigh Lace Museum features the works of
Kristin Conrad, the inspiration for the Lace Center and the Museum.
Besides several works, ranging from small delicate pieces to larger woven and
bobbin lace creations, patrons can admire her works in progress on the pillows
on display in the museum space. In addition to her works, the
museum showcases many lace masterworks from the early 1600s to
current, intricate fine lace pieces.
The Raleigh Lace Museum has a loan program agreement with the famous Kant Centrum in Bruges,
Belgium. Such special collections are shown for three to four months, and dates will be announced in our
quarterly newsletter. Make sure to join our mailing list so we can inform you of these
upcoming special exhibitions. The museum's current exhibition(s) may be listed below.
