Donations-in-kind and Estate Donations

This document is part of a set of documents related to
Donations-in-kind and Estate donations
and the Deaccessioning of items based on standard Museum practices.

To refine and define its collections, the Kristin S. Conrad Lace Center Foundation (Lace Center) accepts non-monetary donations such as Donations-in-kind and Estate Donations.

Please contact Liz Redford via email including a description and images of donated items such as bobbins, pillows, books, lace pieces and lace-making materials.

Upon evaluation, the donation items will be classified as museum-worthy, educational materials, reference materials, etc., as outlined in the Deaccessioning Policy of the Foundation. Donors will be given a shipping address and are required to sign a Donation-in-Kind letter in which the Donor may request name recognition in case of materials that may be exhibited.
